Free, Confidential Counselling Support
Free, confidential counselling for anyone affected by road trauma in South Australia, no referral needed.
Confidential Counselling for Anyone Impacted by Road Trauma
RTST offers free counselling to anyone affected by road trauma. Confidential counselling is provided by qualified counsellors.
Counselling may take place face to face, via telephone, online platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Telehealth, or home visits, depending on your circumstances and what's available at the time.
Grieving the loss of someone can be a long and isolating journey. Our service provides counselling and group support for people who have experienced bereavement following road trauma. Connecting with others through group sessions can provide an opportunity to share experiences, learn from others, and feel supported by people who understand what you are going through.
What to Expect When You Call
Your call will be answered by a member of the team. Counselling isn't provided during this initial call. With your consent, and depending on your circumstances, we'll source the most appropriate counsellor for your needs, which may involve a few questions.
Your Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Any personal information you share is treated in the strictest confidence and will never be disclosed without your consent, whether you're just gathering information or ready to book a session.
Call Costs
Our mobile is monitored Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If the line is busy, please leave a short message and we will call you back as soon as we can, so reaching out never costs you anything.
Monthly Road Trauma Support Group Meetings in South Australia
On the first Wednesday of every month, RTST holds a support group meeting for anyone affected by road trauma. These meetings provide a safe space to connect with others who may be going through a similar experience, in a setting that is warm, unhurried and free of judgement.
Trauma Counsellor Support
One of our trauma counsellors attends every meeting, so you are never navigating the conversation alone. Their presence helps keep the space safe, calm and supportive.
